Our next chapel service is Wednesday, March 3 at 8:15. Pastor Aschenbeck will be our chapel leader. Our offerings this six weeks period will support Camp Lone Star in La Grange. This camp is operated by Lutheran Outdoors Ministry of Texas. They have many excellent summer programs for children.  The 6th grade will participate.

PSIA district meet will be held here at Immanuel tomorrow, February 26. No classes will be held. We are excited about hosting the event again! We are proud of our 63 students and their academic efforts!

 

PALS music festival in San Antonio is March 4th.  ILS Band will be attending.  Performing for judges begins at 11:15.  Good Luck!

2010 Houston Astros Honor Roll Program is open for all 5th-8th grade students during this Fourth Six Weeks grading period! Students must be on the Honor or Distinction Roll to be awarded two View Deck II tickets or $24 off two upgraded tickets for games on 04/24, 06/02, 07/27, or 08/16.

SUNDAY- Special 10:30 a.m. service with school choirs and band

 

MONDAY – SERVICE DAY - Dress as a person who provides a service to others. K, 3, 4 parents for lunch.

 

TUESDAY – PAJAMA DAY - Students may wear slippers, robes, modest pajamas, carry stuffed animals!

Teacher Swap Hour 10:15-11:00 - Teachers from K-4 will swap with 5-8 grade teachers!  1, 6, 7 parents for lunch

Singers, musicians, poetry reading, tricks, juggling, balancing acts, pet tricks, dancing, rope tricks, etc.!

Students are invited to perform on the Fellowship Hall stage and show their talents!

Students will go roller skating today at Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham from 11:00 – 2:00

School buses will be taken but parent drivers are still needed. Leave school at 10:00 a.m.

Call before Friday to inform us who is riding with you. Driver’s license and proof of insurance must be shown.

Cost is $5.00 per person; includes 4 wheeled skates and lunch. In-line skates are $2 more at the door.

Lunch is pizza, nachos, or hot dog, soft drink, and chips or ice cream.
